Way too emotionally and physically exhausted to blog in detail, so here is the abbreviated version of today. Did some interviews (Zey helped):
Met with Central GM in 100 Mile to pick up the car they donated for the trip and give Tom a DVD:
Also met with Sean from Safeway. Safeway has been kind enough to step up and be supportive as well. I am very grateful for that. I’m also very grateful that Karley, Kelvin, and Rob were able to make it to 100 Mile for moral support (and a new work truck. If you mention 65 cities, or that you heard about me on the radio, Central GM is donating $500 to Cystic Fibrosis. Not a bad surprise, hey? Sure beats a turkey!) Pictured below are me, Sean, Kar, and Tom:
Here is the highlight of my day:
Her name is Madison. She is 12 and has CF. She is one of the reasons I am making this trip and I’m sure glad she came out to meet me. She also has a killer sense of humor, which was much appreciated. Today was good, but really difficult.
Looking forward to having an extremely low-key chill out day with the fam tomorrow.
