The day started out great. Olivia and I went over the boarder to Labrador and visited a little town called L’Anse-Au-Clair. We were happy to be officially welcomed:
We were also happy to meet Louisa Chubbs when we visited her daughter’s craft store. She was so sweet I was happy to give her a free movie:
While we were in Labrador, we also visited the beach:
And Olivia cozied up beside some Australian gold to reconnect with the motherland:
We then went back to Quebec and took a few pics:
Apparently the people don’t walk around here; they strut. When you’ve got it you’ve got it.
Before we were about to leave town, we popped by the hospital and I gave paramedic Alphonse Beaudoin a DVD:
Olivia and I then headed to take the ferry back to Newfoundland, but before we left, I had to get a photo of Zey and I, happy to be in Quebec:
This was short-lived, however. Turns out that the ferry, although it leaves from Quebec, operates on Newfoundland time, so we missed it and there isn’t another one running until tomorrow. So, on our way back into town, we pulled over for another, less enthusiastic picture:
Our sour mood didn’t last long. This was largely in part to us going out for pizza (they had gluten-free here, ya’ll!):
Pizza fixes everything.
Hopefully we get to see some Vikings tomorrow:
